The winners of the DesignEuropa Awards 2023 recently announced in Berlin!
The DesignEuropa Awards, organised by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), acknowledge outstanding designs that are protected as registered Community designs (RCDs), as well as influential figures in the field.
These are the winners
- Slovenian electric outboard motor RemigoOne has won the Small and Emerging Companies Award
- Smeg’s Full Automatic Espresso Coffee Machine, from Italy, has won the Industry Award
- The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Maria Benktzon, renowned for her inclusive designs such as the drip-free coffee pot or the Knork Fork.
Over 1.6 million designs have been received at EUIPO since 2003. Germany is the top filing country for designs, followed by Italy.
