Last week the English version of ThatsIP.be went live. ThatsIP.be is the free e-learning module about intellectual property for higher education in Flanders. And with the live performance of the English version, the wish of many people in higher education has been met. The translation of the e-learning module was done in good cooperation between VLAIO, BOIP and Splintt, the e-learning builder of ThatsIP.
The English version of ThatsIP.nl, the free e-learning module for higher education in the Netherlands, went live in 2018. This version was created in collaboration between RVO/OCNL, BOIP and Splintt.
With the introduction of the English language versions we, as well as our partners in Flanders and the Netherlands, hope to be able to respond to the trend of more and more English language education in The Netherlands and Flanders.
ThatsIP is modular. Besides an introduction movie, where the viewer experiences that IP is everywhere, there are 3 parts, namely theory, practical examples and a quiz. Each part can be run separately. The module is designed to be used in the context of blended learning. But students can also go through the components of the e-learning module independently and look up the necessary information in ThatsIP. Teachers can find supporting information in the teacher's manual.
Although e-learning is designed for students, entrepreneurs who have questions about IP can of course also use the free tool. And now this is also possible for entrepreneurs who do not speak the Dutch language.
